According to him, the directive was in line with the guidelines for the gradual easing of the lockdown in the federal capital territory (FCT).

“With reference to Presidential directive to ease the lockdown order in Lagos, Ogun and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Monday, 4th May 2020, it has become necessary and in fact compulsory for all public and private offices within Abuja Municipal Area Council to decontaminate/disinfect before re-occupation” the letter read.
