The vigilante group in Agwara local government area of Niger state has called on the council authorities consider an upward review of their monthly allowance N5,000 to N10,000.

In an interview with NAN in Agwara on Sunday, Garba Wakili, an official of the group, said the review would assist in boosting the morale of the members.

According to Wakili, the current monthly allowance of N5,000 for members of the group was inadequate and could not meet their needs, and as such, there is need for an increment.

“The upward review of our allowances from N5,000 to N10,000 will boost our morale toward safeguarding the lives and property of people,” he said.
