The Federal Capital Territory Civil Service Commission (FCT-CSC) has warned the public about a fraudulent social media advertisement claiming that 3,000 job vacancies are available.
The federal government last year approved the establishment of the commission to allow career progression for civil servants in the FCT administration to become permanent secretaries.
In a statement on Thursday, the commission described the advert as “fake news” and a scheme by fraudsters aiming to deceive unsuspecting job seekers.
The FCT-CSC urged members of the public to disregard the false information, noting that it has no connection with the purported job vacancies.
