Folarin Falana, Nigerian rapper and actor popularly known as Falz, has revealed his aspirations of playing professional football.

The lawyer-cum-actor said he could still pursue his dreams in football, as age is still on his side.

He also revealed that he missed an opportunity of getting signed on as a player in the Nigerian national team, Super Eagles.

“Well, apart from music and law, if there’s something I want to do professionally, it’s to play football. I like sports so much especially football,” he told Punch in an interview.

“I believe so much in my skills as well and I think I am capable of playing professionally; the problem is that Super Eagles were supposed to sign me but they missed their chance. They missed their opportunity but it’s so unfortunate for them.”

He said many people are unaware of his football skills and added he would have been a professional footballer by now if he was not an entertainer.

The son of Nigerian lawyer and human rights activist, Femi Falana, the 25-year-old rapper is known for his comic lyrics and accent.
