‘Farewell slap’ — Twitter reactions to brawl between Obiano’s wife and Bianca at Soludo’s inauguration
There was a brawl on Thursday between Bianca Ojukwu, Nigeria’s former ambassador to Spain and widow of Dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, and Ebelechukwu, wife of Willie Obiano, former governor of Anambra.
TheCable had reported that fight broke out between Ebelechukwu and Bianca during the inauguration of Chukwuma Soludo as governor of Anambra.
In a trending video, Ebelechukwu stood up from her seat and moved to where Bianca was seated and spoke to the former ambassador.
Although Ebelechukwu was inaudible, the video showed how Bianca stood up and gave her a slap, leading to a commotion.
The incident drew the attention of security agents and some personalities who pulled Obiano’s wife away from Bianca.
Afterwards, Nigerians took to Twitter to wade into the matter.
Stella Oduah, senator representing representing Anambra north, described the incident as disgraceful.
“The act exhibited by the former first lady was indecorous and unbecoming of a woman who had acted as a mother of the state and even desirous of serving in other capacities. More condemnable is even the gutter and vulgar language used by Mrs Obiano to describe her fellow woman, who is even a widow,” she tweeted.
Meanwhile, Soludo has apologised over the incident.

Asides being the late Ojukwu wife, Bianca is Igbo royalty.
She is a politician, diplomat, lawyer, ex-presidential adviser, ex-beauty queen MBGN, a super lioness, and businesswoman.
Her father was governor of Anambra even before Ebere dreamt of becoming a First lady.
