Fatai Osho has resigned as the head coach of Remo Stars Football Club.

This is the second time Osho will be quitting as Remo Stars coach after he was reappointed following Nduka Ugbade’s exit in 2017.

A source told TheCable that the club’s management wants Osho to be an assistant to Kennedy Boboye, which he agreed to.

“Remo stars management want Kennedy Boboye to take over the technical crew, mandated Osho to work as assistant,” the source told TheCable.

“Unfortunately, Osho agreed in the meeting and resigned few minutes later on social media.”

The former Crown FC, Kogi United FC and Supreme Court FC coach announced his resignation on his Facebook page.

“I have resigned my position as the Technical Adviser of Remo Stars FC. I wish the team the very best in the NPFL,” he wrote.

The Ijebu club who just gained promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League is believed to have already replaced Osho with Boboye, former Plateau United coach.

Boboye guided Plateau United to the NPFL title during the 2016/17 season.
