Gabriel Emmanuel, father of Udom Emmanuel, governor of Akwa Ibom state, has died at the age of 90.
He reportedly died in Akwa Ibom on Sunday, December 1, 2019.
A family source said after due clearance from Edo Ekim, head of the family, Gabriel Nkanang, the first son of the deceased, was authorised to make public, the demise of the late patriarch.
Ekim is the father of Ini Edo, celebrity and Nollywood actress.
The governor’s family said burial arrangement of the deceased will be announced in due course.
