Kayode Fayemi, governor of Ekiti, has ordered the reinstatement of five permanent secretaries retired in 2014 by the administration of Ayodele Fayose, his predecessor.

According to NAN, their reinstatement was made known in a statement issued by Olayinka Oyebode, chief press secretary to the governor.

Those reinstated are Emmanuel Oso, Alfred Ologuntoye, Ayodeji Ajayi, Funke Falodun, Ayoola Owolabi and Babatunde Alokan.

According to the statement, their reinstatement followed the successful hearing of their petitions by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) which declared that they were unfairly treated.
