Goalkeeper, Ezenwa, appointed skipper for CHAN qualifier
FC IfeanyiUbah goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa will captain the Nigeria team at the African Nations Championship.
Team coach Salisu Yusuf made the selection on Wednesday.
Ezenwa will be assisted by Enyimba’s defender Chima Akas who captained the home-based Eagles to the 2016 CHAN in Kigali, Rwanda.
The announcement was made on the Super Eagles Twitter handle.

Nigeria, 2014 bronze medallists, will lock horns with Benin Republic on August 13, and play the return leg in Kano on August 19.
