FCT minister appoints new directors

Muhammad Bello, minister of the federal capital territory (FCT), has approved the appointment of new directors to head the various departments of the federal capital territory administration.

Muhammad Sule, chief press secretary to the minister, disclosed this in a statement issued in Abuja.

“The new directors of parks and recreation, as well as Development Control, are Ali Ukele and Mukhtar Usman respectively,” the statement read.

“Others include Imande Victoria, director, Satellite Towns Development department, Obiechina Nneka, director, resettlement and compensation, and Ahmed Zalihau, director, Urban and Regional Planning.

“Dr Okoroukwu Humphery, director, public health, Jogai Cerie is now director, Archives and History Bureau, and Olaloye Omoniyi is Director, Facilities Maintenance and Management.

“Abubakar Yahaya is now the secretary, Urban and Regional Planning Tribunal, while Ohamma Ndawii now takes charge as the Deputy Director (Planning and Resettlement).

“Adamu Jibril is now the Director of Land Administration, while Dr Isa Jalo takes charge of Abuja Geographical Information System (AGIS).”

Deputy directors currently in the departments of land administration and development control affected by the postings were directed to report to the department of establishment and training for further posting instructions.

“These changes are with immediate effect and all handing and taking over formalities are to be completed unfailingly on or before Friday, August 12, 2016,” Sule said.
