Fela Durotoye, Ibukun Awosika to speak at leadership conference September 18

Ibukun Awosika, entrepreneur and former First Bank of Nigeria chairperson, will be among the speakers at the maiden edition of the ‘Building Beyond You Conference’.

The event is scheduled for September 18, at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The conference is designed to “inspire Africa’s next generation of leaders to create legacies that extend beyond personal success”.

Other speakers include Tara Fela-Durotoye, renowned leadership coach; and Atedo Peterside, businessman and chairman of ANAP Foundation.

The event will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, fireside conversations, and practical workshops aimed at moving beyond theory into actionable strategies for building sustainable enterprises and communities.

Tara, host of the ‘Building Beyond You Conference 2025′, described the event as more than just a gathering.

She said it is “a movement to shift mindsets” and harped on the importance of creating sustainable structures, businesses, and systems that outlive their founders.

The conference will bring together executives, young entrepreneurs, and community leaders to foster collaboration, partnerships, and sustainable initiatives across Nigeria and Africa.
