Femi Adesina, special adviser to the president on media and publicity, says some of those criticising President Muhammadu Buhari will complain about God if they make it to heaven.

Speaking in an interview he granted in New York during the 72nd United Nations general assembly (UNGA), Adesina described such persons as “professional critics” who will never see anything good in anything.

He spoke in response to the criticisms that trailed Buhari’s address to world leaders.

“Those that condemn the quality of the speech have a right to their views. The funny thing is that most of them may not have read, nor did they listen to the speech,” he said.

“They are professional critics who never see anything good in anything. If such people mistakenly get into heaven, they will complain about God.

“There will always be naysayers around. As the saying goes, no drummer can ever please all dancers. If 98 people out of 100 praise you, there will always be the two, who will never see anything good in what you have done.

“We must learn to live with, and tolerate the views of such people. They have a right to their opinions.”

Adesina also defended the decision of his principal to be silent on the activities of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) during his UN speech.

“The IPOB situation is an internal matter, which the government is dealing firmly with,” he said.

“It is not a UN matter. It is those who overrate themselves that think something like that must be brought up at a global platform like the UN. The president swore to uphold the Nigerian constitution, and the constitution recognises an indivisible country. It is a president who holds his own promises with flippancy that will allow the country to scatter under him.”

God is not imperfect. Your comment is taken too far. If the drummer’s beats is sonorous, the voices of 98 of the 100 people that are enjoying the beat will definitely sink the 2 that are not dancing to the poor beats. Reverse is the case under this administration. We came out in good number to dance to the supposed good tunes promised by the party, but today there is no drum talk less of beat. Mr. Adesina, please Nigerians are complaining in their numbers. Poverty is everywhere!!!!! You won’t just understand, until it is all over.

Can you imagine this absurd comparison? How can someone say heaven can be made mistakenly, just because of the zealotry of defending a starkly porous and ideally indefensible situation? How can’t there just be integrity in people who, through one way or the other meander into government? It’s so cowardly!
