Femi Otedola, chairman of First HoldCo and billionaire businessman, has announced that his long-anticipated book, ‘Making It Big,’ will officially launch on August 18.
In a post shared via his official X handle on Thursday, Otedola described the forthcoming release as a candid reflection on the lessons, setbacks, and victories that have shaped his entrepreneurial journey.
“I am excited to announce the forthcoming release of my new book, ‘Making it Big’ set to launch on August 18th,” Otedola posted.
“Just a month to go. The lessons, setbacks, and triumphs that shaped my path are almost ready for you.

“In these pages, I’ve shared the real stories – the moments of doubt, the breakthroughs, and the principles that guided me through it all.

Otedola, reflecting on how Nigeria’s business environment has transformed over the past decade, credited the shift to resilience and hard-won experience.
“Over the past decade, doors have opened for entrepreneurs in Nigeria that once seemed firmly shut. This transformation didn’t happen overnight,” he had posted.
On May 22, Otedola said his investment in the financial institution would reach N320 billion in cash by the next capital raising round.
