President Muhammadu Buhari will, on Thursday, address the nation.

The president’s address comes amid protests and outbreak of violence over the scarcity of naira notes across the country.

The protests have led to attacks on banks and gridlock on major roads, while some persons are feared to have been killed.

The president’s address also comes amid a hike in the price of petrol, which has been followed by queues at filling stations.
