The Dan’agundi electricity transmission station in Kano has been reportedly gutted by fire.
The incident which occurred on Sunday has caused damage to high-performance capacity transformers.
The electricity transmission station is the major power supply chain for Kano.
The cause of the fire outbreak is yet to be ascertained and authorities have yet to make any official statement about the incident.
Kano has recorded some cases of fire outbreaks in recent weeks.
On February 12, a police divisional office in Nasarawa LGA was gutted by fire which destroyed major parts of the building in Kano.
