International forex broker Forex Time (FXTM) has announced the launch of its Forex Trading Cup demo contest, a new global and risk-free contest that pits forex traders against each other and rewards the best trader with a grand cash prize of $3,000 in a live FXTM trading account.

The contest gives traders the advantage of participating under real market conditions and putting their trading strategies to the test without having to invest any real money.

Aside being in the running for the top prize, it is also an opportunity for all forex traders – whether they are new to trading or have previous experience – to practice and become efficient in trading.

“We have launched the Forex Trading Cup to give traders the chance to experience the excitement of trading forex in a completely safe and risk-free environment,” Charis Mountis, head of dealing at Forex Time, said.

“Trading on a demo account really empowers traders, regardless of their experience, and the launch of the Forex Trading Cup also means traders will feel motivated to work harder on their strategies.

“By trading on a demo account and joining the Forex Trading Cup, participants will have the opportunity to improve their trading skills by practicing and competing alongside other forex traders from around the world.”

Interested participants simply need to open a free demo account with Forex Time, register for the contest and start trading. Registrations for the competition are open until August 1, with the competition running from July 21 till August 1 2014.
