Forget kidney issues. OJB Jezreel is back with new video ‘Not Afraid’
Talented and soft speaking musician/producer, OJB Jezreel, is back to excite his teeming fans and he says he is Not Afraid. Certainly he may have attained a fearless will after an almost death experience battling a kidney ailment.
The singer generated enough buzz in the media last year as some of his colleagues and other prominent individuals made some favourable donations to his surgery that was done in India.
The surgery was successful and after recuperating, he came back to Nigeria.
OJB had come out Not Afraid a while ago to say that not all (of his colleagues) that made financial promises to him before he went for the surgery actually fulfilled it and also mentioned some cheques bounced.
Not Afraid is a subtle way of reminding his fans about that supposed deceit. He openly makes a jab when he says “out there my fans are blaming but they don’t even know that 2Face never pay me”. We also took notice of the man in the video, who bear a resemblance to 2Face.
The song Not Afraid tells of a lady’s love for her man despite his struggles. She shows that she is not afraid of their tomorrow for it will be better. OJB seems to be indirectly talking to his first wife, who had donated her kidney to him.
Not Afraid shows OJB is back and is ready to reclaim his position in Nigeria music industry. Directed by Yinkrid Films and produced by OJB Jezreel, it is sure to generate some controversy and be a big hit.
