The Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation has honoured “16 exceptional” civil servants for excellence, professionalism, and commitment.
In a statement issued on Monday, the foundation said the civil servants were recognised during the recently concluded Civil Service Week.
The statement quoted Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, chairman of the foundation, as saying the recognition highlights the “strong and productive” relationship between the organisation and the office of the head of the civil service of the federation.
He added that it motivates ongoing efforts to support public sector excellence, noting that the foundation, through the Emily Aig-Imoukhuede Endowment Fund, has awarded over N50 million to 111 exceptional civil servants since its inception in 2022.

Aig-Imoukhuede also stressed the importance of collaboration between government, the private sector, and development partners in driving public sector reforms.
He said recognising the 16 civil servants marked a key milestone in the foundation’s commitment to transforming the public sector.
“Recipients of the Presidential Civil Service Merit Award were each awarded N500,000, while winners of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation EPIC Award received N250,000,” the statement reads.
