France were simply ruthless as they annihilated Nigeria’s Super Falcons 8-0 in an international friendly at the MMArena on Friday.
The bewildered Falcons had no response to the dominant French side in Le Mans.
Valerie Gauvin bagged a hat-trick while Le Sommer, Gaetane Thiney, Aminata Diallo and Marie-Charlotte Léger each scored a goal.
Faith Ikidi deflected the ball to the back of the net for the seventh goal.

Marie wrapped up the whitewash with a nice effort in injury time.
The game is part of the Super Falcons’ preparations for the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) which will be staged in Ghana.
