FRSC corps marshal decorates Bisi Kazeem with new rank

Dauda Ali Biu, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) corps marshal, has decorated Bisi Kazeem with the new rank of deputy corps marshal.

In October, the presidency had approved the appointment of Kazeem, who was the FRSC spokesperson, as the deputy corps marshal representing the south-west.

According to a statement on Saturday by Charles Edem, FRSC public education officer, the new deputy corps marshal was decorated on Saturday during a ceremony that held at the national headquarters of the agency in Abuja.

Speaking before the decoration, the corps marshal charged the newly appointed officer to be transparent in the discharge of his duty and to rededicate self to the service of the nation.

In his words of appreciation, Kazeem expressed his deepest gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, the corps marshal and the entire management team for the honour to serve in a higher position.

Dignitaries who attended the event were Jide Ipinsagba, chairman, senate committee on petroleum down stream sector; Derin Adesida, chairman house of representatives committee on FRSC; Bamidele Salam, chairman house committee on public accounts; and Laide Muhammed, vice chairman house committee on pensions.

Others were Wale Abdulsalam, former speaker, Ondo state house of assembly; Kofo Abdusalam, legal adviser and secretary, Central Bank of Nigeria; and Lekan Bada, immediate past chairman of Akoko north-east LGA, Ikare.
