Olufemi Oluyede, chief of army staff (COAS), has approved the redeployment of senior officers into key command and staff positions.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Appolonia Anele, acting director of army public relations, said the new postings affect principal staff officers (PSOs) at the army headquarters, general officers commanding (GOCs), corps commanders, commandants of training institutions, and brigade commanders.

E.A. Anaryu, major general — Corps commander, supply and transport

J.E. Osifo, major general — Director-general, Nigerian Army Finance Corporation

S.A. Akesode, major general — Head of mission, African Union Verification Mission in Tigray, Ethiopia.
