The ministry of aviation and aerospace development has announced the appointments of directors across its agencies.

The development comes one week after President Bola Tinubu sacked Kabir Mohammed as the managing director (MD) of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), and Tayib Odunowo as the MD of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA).

Less than 24 hours after the sack, heads of agencies were also dismissed from their offices.

However, in a statement on Thursday by Odutayo Oluseyi, spokesperson of the ministry, all directors have been replaced.

According to Oluseyi, the appointment of the new directors takes immediate effect.

He also said a new directorate called the ‘Cargo Services’ was created at FAAN to improve the sector.
