Funmi Olotu, senior special assistant (SSA) on state lotteries to Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos state governor, has congratulated Bola Tinubu on his victory at the presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Tinubu, former governor of Lagos, at the conclusion of voting on Wednesday, polled a total of 1,271 votes to secure the presidential ticket of his party.

In a statement on Friday, Olotu said Tinubu has the capacity to transform the country and bring about the change young people want to see.

Olotu, a former aspirant for Lagos state house of assembly, Ikeja constituency II, noted that she is ready to deploy her network to ensure Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 presidential election.

“I join millions of young people to congratulate our father and astute leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his emergence as the flag bearer of our party, All Progressives Congress (APC), in next year’s presidential election,” Olotu said.

“It is to my great delight that your unrivaled commitment to the struggle for social change, physical and economic development of our nation has been rewarded by our party which chose you in a landslide victory to lead it in a journey to another lofty height of political success in the beckoning dispensation.

“Under your tutelage, I have continued to take lessons in politics as a veritable tool for human advancement and societal development.

“As a visionary leader par excellence, I nurture no doubt that your capacity is measured up to the Herculean task of transforming our nation and bring about the change young people want to see. The ever unfolding greatness of Lagos state, which remains your most visible political specimen, is testimony to your competence to lead a diverse nation such as ours.
