SV Vonderort football club’s second team in German C League broke a record on September 12, 2016 by conceding 43 goals in one football match.

Marco Kwiotek, the 25-year-old goalkeeper who conceded the basket load of the goals, was arrested by police during a training session after his side, SV Vonderort lost to PSV Oberhausen.

He is now the world record holder in the history of football for conceding a goal per two minutes in the match with PSV Oberhausen.

The SV Vonderort team consisting of refugees from Syria, Iraq and Guinea made headlines after they were walloped by their opponent.

While Kwiotek was being escorted off the pitch, he said: “I’m going to the police station only to clarify a situation.”

No news has been heard from him since he left with the policemen, and he has not been reachable on his phone.

SV Vonderort was also beaten 8-0 by Batenbrocker Ruhrpott Kicker, a third team, in a game played with a different goalkeeper after the 43-0 loss.
