“I know my predecessors and compatriots who have played for AS Trencin like Samuel Kalu and Moses Simon, so I am going to try my best to maybe reach a great level to what they achieved,” Ghali said.

The goal poacher was a provisional member of the Nigeria team to the last FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland, before he was dropped few days to the start of the tournament.

The youngster, who was given a second chance at the 12th All Africa Games in August, in Morocco, proved to be the star player of the team, as the Flying Eagles finished in second place.

The club is expected to present Ahmad Ghali with an official jersey number in front of their home crowd ahead of their weekend game.
