Gridlock Lagos-Ibadan expressway
A containerised truck crashed on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway during rush hour — a mishap that led to multiple accidents.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LATSMA) said the accident occurred at about 7:40am on Friday at the Kara Bridge, inward OPIC in Lagos.
The agency relayed that it has deployed personnel to rescue affected persons and manage traffic on the axis.
LATSMA appealed for patience from motorists as operatives work to ease traffic flow.

“We recorded an accident on Kara bridge inward Opic on Lagos Ibadan Express Way with multiple vehicles,” LATSMA said.
“LASTMA personnel and other Emergency responders have swung into action to rescue the victims and also clear the affected vehicles.
“The incident has dragged traffic backwards Otedola bridge. Patience is required from the road users.”
