Gridlock as diesel-laden tanker falls on Otedola Bridge, Berger

Traffic around Alausa, Berger, Gbagada and Ojota axis is currently heavy as a diesel-laden tanker fell on Otedola Bridge on Friday evening.

According to the Lagos state Rapid Response Squad (RRS), emergency responders are already at the scene to remove the tanker.

“A diesel laden tanker has fallen just a few metres beyond Otedola Bridge (inward Ogun State). Traffic build-up has extended to Ojota. Motorists are advised to drive with caution. Emergency responders are making efforts to remove the fallen tanker,” the RRS tweeted.

This accident will most likely contribute to the traffic caused by the partial closure of some parts of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway inward Lagos.
