Celebrities last weekend joined Adedamola Awoniyi, winner of the Ultimate Party online contest, when he was hosted by Gulder in Lagos.

The Ultimate Party is one of Gulder’s programmes leveraging on ‘Guy Code’, a television series showing on MTV Base.

At the event, Franco Maria Maggi, marketing director, Nigerian Breweries, said the programme is aimed at strengthening the connection between Gulder and its consumers.

“The idea is to reward the ultimate guy. There are millions of ultimate guys out there, but we cannot reward everybody at the same time,” he said.

While saying that the Ultimate Party is for “7the man who is striving to achieve success,” Maggi described party as “a celebration of new beginning” for Gulder.

“For the consumers, the important thing is to stay connected to Gulder. This is because the brand will continue to celebrate them,” he said.

The event, which held all-night, brought together leading entertainers such as MI Abaga, Dr. Sid, Ice Prince, Alexx Ekubo, Uriel Oputa and Blossom Chukwujekwu.

In the buildup to the event, Awoniyi, “an adventurous fashion designer and upcoming movie star”, had been unveiled as the winner of the contest.

“I have never dreamt of this kind of treatment. I never thought of winning the competition. Of course, I am not afraid of trying new things. I am adventurous, which is the reason I participated in the contest,” the winner said.
