Gunmen have kidnapped the principal of Government Technical Secondary School located at Maraban Kajuru community in Kajuru local government area of Kaduna state.
According to Channels Television, the school was attacked by the gunmen about 12am on Thursday.
The kidnappers were said to have shot sporadically into the air to scare the students and members of staff.
The principal was said to have been taken away from his residence to an unknown destination.
The latest attack comes a week after kidnappers abducted six female students and two teachers of Engraver’s college at Kakau Daji village in Chikun local government area of the state.
The victims were abducted at the school. The kidnappers were said to have entered the school through a porous fence and went to the female hostel where the students were taken.
Ali Janga, the commissioner of police in the state, said the force is negotiating with the kidnappers so as not to put the lives of the girls at risk.
