Harry Kane nets equaliser for Tottenham in a feisty derby

The North London derby saw Arsenal and Tottenham extend their different unbeaten runs – Arsenal in all competitions since August, Spurs in the Premier League this season.

Kevin Wimmer had the ball glanced off his head against his goalkeeper to gift Arsenal the lead in the 42nd minute from a free-kick.

Harry Kane sent Petr Cech the wrong way to level the scores in the 51st minute when Dembele who elegantly shielded the ball with his left leg when Koscielny stuck a leg out just inside the box and definitely tripped Dembele.

Both sides looked better when they broke against the defence on several occasions. Though, Arsenal were still the better side, but they lacked some composure on the ball, with Oxlade-Chamberlain and Ramsey both rushed attacks.

An in-swing from Christian Eriksen in the 82nd minute from a freekick beat everyone and rebounded off the far post.

A series of crosses late on as Tottenham withdrew everyone back in their own half and defended against the Gunners barrage. The visitors dealt well with the high balls from the Gunners.

The draw with Arsenal made it Tottenham’s four straight draw games in the league for eight years.
