Eden Hazard with the EPL Hall of Fame medallion
Eden Hazard has been inducted into the English Premier League (EPL) Hall of Fame.
The former Chelsea playmaker’s addition to the list of inductees was announced on the league’s Twitter account on Wednesday.
The Belgian becomes the sixth Chelsea legend inducted into the EPL Hall of Fame.
He joins Frank Lampard, John Terry, Didier Drogba, Ashley Cole and Peter Cech as ex-players of the Blues to make the celebrated list.

Hazard received an engraved medallion marking his induction, along with a £10,000 donation from the Premier League to a charity of his choice.
Hazard played in the EPL for seven years and won the league twice. He won the EPL Player of the Season in 2014/15 and made the Team of the Season four times.
He scored 110 goals in 352 games for Chelsea in all competitions before leaving for Real Madrid in 2019, and his eventual retirement in 2023.

“It means a lot to join the Premier League Hall of Fame. I’m very proud to join this group of players and I think we could make a good squad,” Hazard said.
“I just wanted to have fun on the pitch and entertain the fans who bought tickets or watched on TV. Being recognised in this way is special for me and my family. My parents were both footballers, and now my children love the game too.”
The EPL Hall of Fame was launched in 2021 as the Premier League’s highest individual honour.
Twenty-six players and managers have been inducted into the list.
