Neymar Jr., Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil forward, has been accused of raping a woman in the city of Paris.

According to the Associated Press, an unnamed woman accused the former Barcelona winger of carrying out the dastardly act last month.

The woman, who went to Sao Paulo police on Friday, said she connected with the 27-year-old on social media site, Instagram, before meeting him in France, and that the incident happened in a hotel around 8:20 pm on May 15.

The lady further claimed that Neymar Jr’s representatives bought her tickets to Paris and arranged for her hotel room where the most expensive player in football, in a drunk state, met her.

Describing the events which happened in the room to police, the woman stated they both “touched each other but Neymar became aggressive and, with violence, had sexual intercourse against the victim’s will.”

The police document says the unnamed woman, who claimed she did not file her complaint in Paris because she was shaken, will be medically examined as part of the investigation.

NEYMAR: WE HAVE WHATSAPP MESSAGES SHOWING OTHERWISE

However, the player’s father who also doubles as his agent has offered a strong denial of the rape claims, declaring his son innocent and wants the case quickly resolved, offering to give more information if necessary.

“This is a tough moment, if we can’t show the truth quickly it will be a snowball. If we have to show WhatsApp messages and the conversations with this lady, we will”, Neymar Sr. declared.

Neymar Jr. has had a troubled end to the season.

He was recently banned for punching a fan in the French league, dropped as captain of Brazil and pulled a youngster to the ground for nutmegging him in training- a trick he has done on countless other players.

He is currently preparing for the South American continent’s Copa America tournament with the Brazilian national team.
