Tributes are pouring in for Abba Kyari, chief of staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, who died on Friday after battling COVID-19.
Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, broke the news of his death on Friday night.
The late chief of staff was buried at Gudu cemetery in Abuja on Saturday.
Nigerians, including politicians have taken to social media to pay their respect to the late Kyari.

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. I am saddened by the death of Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari. May Allah SWT comfort his family, forgive his sins and grant him AlJannah Firdaus. Ameen,” Atiku Abubakar wrote.
“Inna lillahi wa inna illaihi Rajiun. I am greatly saddened by the loss of a great patriot and mentor, Abba Kyari. His contributions to the progress of our country, mostly away from public view, are truly beyond measure. May his gentle soul Rest in Jannah. Ameen,” Sadiya Umar Farouq said.
