Gunmen numbering at least five have attacked The Vine International Academy, a primary school at Nyanya, Abuja, which has witnessed two high-casualty bombings in the last month.
The attack was staged at about 8am.
Officers of the school confirmed to TheCable that the gunmen made away with the school’s bus.
They said it was unclear if the attackers are armed robbers or members of Boko Haram.
The attack has spawned fresh fear among Nyanya residents; and at the time of filing this report in, parents were seen withdrawing their children from various schools in the metropolis.
