Bob Geldof’s daughter, Peaches, died of heroin overdose – the same drug that killed her mother, Paula Yates.

The Times of London reported that the results of toxicology tests would be revealed by Detective Chief Inspector Paul Fotheringham today at an inquest hearing in Gravesend, Kent, UK.

Ms Geldof, 25, had posted a photograph on Twitter of her as a child with her mother.

She was found dead shortly after.

She had spoken of never getting over her mother’s death.

No drug paraphernalia was found near her body when it discovered at her home in Wrotham Kent on April 7.

It is still a mystery how she got the drug supply.

Her husband, Thomas Cohen, was away with their son Astala, 23 months, when the tragedy happened.

Unable to get through to her and their one-year-old son Phaedra, he asked a friend check the house.

Ms Geldof  had a history of drug taking , and reportedly had an overdose in 2008.

Her friend Freddy McConnel died of a drugs overdose in 2011, aged 18.

McConnel had written in his diary: “Peaches is coming over later and I am going to inject for the first time. Perhaps I will die. I hope I don’t.”

Ms Geldof said in her final interview that becoming a mother had been a “really healing process”.
