Forbes magazine released its highly anticipated list of highest earning personalities in the entertainment business on Monday – with undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather coming tops at $300million.

Forbes had hinted at a shift in power from last year’s list which had Beyonce at number one with the announcement of the highest paid couple in Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris last week.

The two sportsmen from the most lucrative fight in boxing history maintain the number one and two spots with Manny Pacquiao still in second place at $160m.

The big revelation is American pop goddess Katy Perry who comes in at third place with earnings of $135m from 126 shows around the world, merchandise sales and endorsements within the one-year time frame.

Musicians dominated the list while the only publishing author was James Patterson at 7th position with an estimated $89m from about 16 books in the past year.

Eighth on the list is Robert Downey Jr. who plays the philanthropist, playboy-billionaire Tony Stark in the Avengers and Iron man series is still the highest paid actor at $80m.

Taylor Swift is tied with Downey Jr. in 8th and $80m earnings while her beau Calvin Harris is consistent at $66m at 17 position from 21 last year.

The other power couple Jay-Z in 28th $56m and Beyonce in 29th position $54.5m.

Cristiano Ronaldo in 10th just like their goal tally competition in La Liga surpassed Lionel Messi by 3 spots in 13th and $5m with Ronaldo’s $79.5million to Messi’s $74m.
