Two suspected kidnappers have been reportedly killed by hunters in Ofu LGA of Kogi state.

The alleged kidnappers, who were attempting to kidnap commuters along the Ochadamu road, were killed on Wednesday morning when the hunters invaded their hideouts.

Confirming the development, Mohammed Lawal Musa, an official of Ofu LGA, said the kidnappers attempted to kidnap commuters during Easter.

Mohammed said the alleged kidnappers initially engaged in a gun fight with personnel of the Nigerian Navy who arrested two of the criminals.
