Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says if elected, his administration will uplift infrastructure in Nasarawa state

Abubakar said this on Monday at the PDP presidential campaign rally in Lafia, Nasarawa state.

The presidential candidate said he will also set aside $10 billion for the employment of youths and women.

“I want to thank the people of Nassarawa for this support. I want to reiterate our commitment to the employment of youths and women in Nigeria. This is why my administration will set aside $10 billion for this purpose,” he said.

Ayu also urged members who had left the party to return.

“I urge all those who have left the party to come back to the winning party; come join the winning train.”

Also present at the rally included Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta governor and PDP vice-presidential candidate; Godwin Obaseki, Edo governor; Udom Emmanuel, Akwa Ibom governor; and Ndudi Elumelu, minority leader of the house of representatives.
