IBB back after 2-month medical trip to Germany

Ibrahim Babangida, a general and former head of state, has returned to Nigeria after two months in Germany on medical treatment.

Babangida, who was away for two months, was received at the Minna Airport by Aliyu Gusau, the minister of defence, and close family members, and at his hilltop residence by his grand children.

On arrival, he thanked all his well-wishers for standing by him during his stay at the hospital.

“I miss everyone around me’,” NAN quoted him as telling reporters.

“When I rest, then we shall talk more with my friends about current issues as we usually do. But for now, let me rest.”

Other personalities who welcomed Babangida home were AVM Hamza Abdullahi, General Halilu Hakilu, Colonel Habibu Shuaibu and Umaru Ndanusa, a former chairman of Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN).
