Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has bizarrely taken a full page advert in the New York times to announce is arrival at US Major League Soccer side, Los Angeles Galaxy.

The former Manchester United striker had his contract, which was supposed to run until this summer, terminated early this week after both club and player reached a mutual agreement.

The 36-year old former PSG talisman announced himself to the MLS in Zlatan style, with a roaring picture of himself in a LA Galaxy jersey and a very brief letter beside it with the content: “Dear Los Angeles, You’re welcome.”

The big Swede, who is currently the second-most decorated active footballer in the world, and is known for Judo-style air kick, had earlier granted an interview to the LA newspaper in which he promised to make falling MLS giants, LA Galaxy, “bigger” to match his personality and ego.
