The All Progressives Congress (APC) has cleared 16 hopefuls for its governorship primary election in Ondo state.
While the party has fixed April 20 for its primary election, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) slated the governorship election for November 16.
The screening committee did not disqualify any of the hopeful from participating in the primary election, TheCable learnt.
Joshua Lidani, a former deputy governor of Gombe state, presided over the committee that screened the governorship hopefuls.
The “go ahead” for the hopefuls was contained in a report submitted to the party’s directorate of organisation.
