IderaOS, a tech start-up business, has launched ListBuy, a free e-commerce software platform that allows retailers and individuals to create and share their online stores, accept local payments and ship to their customers.

According to the company, the software comes with escrow payment technology and delivery to protect buyers from fraud.

The company also guarantees that customers will get what they order as it leverages on the software’s product verification system and escrow service that is built-in for every merchant’s store.

ListBuy is designed for entrepreneurs, medium, small and micro-enterprise (MSME) business owners and drop shippers.

“We chose to work on this idea because it presents an opportunity to reduce poverty and create prosperity by accelerating the creation and expansion of small businesses,” Quadry Olalekan (pictured), founder of IderaOS, said.

Olalekan described the product as “a one-stop-shop” for setting up and running a business online.

“ListBuy is deliberately designed to give the African entrepreneur a niche in the growing global e-commerce industry,” he said.

“The ListBuy business model offers a pay as you sell and subscription system making it affordable to use.

“It provides an interconnected ecosystem that takes care of everything a business needs including local shipping, payment solutions, and inventory management.”

Olalekan co-founded IderaOS in 2019 with Ridwan Rasheed. The company has its operational base in Ibadan, Oyo state; Boston and Rhode Island, USA.
