Ighalo, Guedioura end Gunners’ Wembley dream
Odion Ighalo and Adlene Guedioura helped Watford FC book a place in the semi final of the FA cup with their goals at the Emirate.
Ighalo broke the deadlock in the 50th minute with a shot on the turn which flew into the bottom corner.
Guedioura smashed an unstoppable rocket into the top corner from the edge of the area in the 63rd minute to send the Watford fans into a frenzy.
Down by two goals, Arsenal piled on the pressure in the latter stages and pulled one back with two minutes to go, through substitute Danny Welbeck, but the Hornets defended resolutely to secure their place in the last-four.
Welbeck turned over the bar from close range after an Iwobi shot had struck the post during a frantic four minutes of added time, but Watford held on to secure their spot in the last four of the FA Cup.
