Odion Ighalo, former Super Eagles striker, has joined Al-Shabab, a Saudi Arabian Pro League club.

The former Manchester United loanee penned a two-and-a-half-year deal with the White Lion.

The 31-year-old linked up with the Carlos Inajeros-coached side after the expiration of his loan deal with Manchester United.

Despite interest from several clubs in other leagues, the former Granada player opted to pitch his tent with Al-Shabab.

He will link up with Alfred N’Diaye of Senegal and Ever Banega of Argentina.

Ighalo will don the number 89 jersey for the Riyadh-based club. The former Watford forward may make his debut during Saturday’s league match against Al Raed.

Unbeaten in their last five league games, Carlos Inarejos’ men lead the log, having accrued 32 points from 16 games — two points ahead of closest challengers, Al Hilal and Al Ahli.
