Ighalo on target but Iheanacho, Osaze missing in action

Watford striker, Odion Ighalo, was on target for his eighth goal of the season in the English Premier League against Aston Villa at the Villa Park Stadium on Saturday.

The Nigerian forward broke the deadlock in just 17 minutes, converting a loose ball from close range and went on to win the game. The win has taken Watford to 11th position on the table with 19 points.

Elsewhere in Manchester, wonder kid, Kelechi Iheanacho was an unused sub as his as Manchester City returned to the summit of the EPL after thrashing Southampton 3-1.

Another Nigerian export, Osaze Odemwingie, was missing in action for Stoke City’s in their 2-0 defeat away to Sunderland. The striker is still not fit and was not named on the bench for Stoke who sit 12th with 19 points.
