Police redeploy Mbu, 27 AIGs
As part of the current re-organisation of the Nigeria police force, Suleiman Abba, inspector-general of police, has ordered the redeployment of 28 assistant inspectors-general of police (AIGs) to various departments, zonal commands and formations of the force.
Most prominent on the list is Mbu Joseph Mbu, who had a controversial reign as Rivers state commissioner of police before his redeployment to Abuja.
Abba said the redeployment followed the recent promotion of some senior officers and vacancies occasioned by retirements.
While charging the senior officers to bring their experience to bear on their new postings and be more service-oriented in the discharge of their constitutional responsibilities, he urged the public to partner closely with the force in its determination to ensure improved safety and security of our country.

i see mbu has been sent to lagos but they should realise that lagos is not rivers state o
