Iheanacho’s goal secures victory against Mali
The Super Eagles of Nigeria beat Mali 1-0 at the Stade Robert Diochon in Rouen on Friday night.
The only goal of the International friendly game came from Manchester City youngster Kelechi Iheanacho.
Iheanacho who came in as a substitute to replace Alex Iwobi scored the game’s only goal in the 77th minute.
The Eagles of Mali tried to level up but Nigeria’s Super Eagles held on to the slim result.
The Salisu Yusuf-managed side will be traveling to Luxembourg City on Saturday, ahead of the game with Luxembourg at the Josy Barthel Stadium on Tuesday evening.
