C-Suite Café, a new talk show designed to popularise mentorship and ideas-sharing, is set to debut across Nigeria and the African media space.
The initiative, created by Ikem Okuhu, journalist and brand strategist, will feature Africa’s top business and policy leaders in relaxed, thought-provoking conversations, aimed at educating and inspiring audiences.
Okuhu described C-Suite Café as “a lifestyle programme of African executives” and likened it to a free MBA class.
“It will present to Africans an opportunity to earn free MBAs by listening to, and immersing themselves in the strategic thinking and business ethos of successful Africans,” he said.

Produced in collaboration with Media Icons Africa, a broadcast content services company, he said the show seeks to teach and inspire through the real-life experiences of high-achieving individuals.
Discussions will cover guests’ educational background, career journey, family life, business strategies, and the challenges they overcame.
“What we want to do is to create the platform where Nigerians and Africans are brought close to the most successful people in our society to tap from their treasure troves of knowledge and insight, with a view to enabling other people to shape their pathways to the top as well,” Okuhu said.

“Africa is blessed with changemakers who have made big differences in the worlds of business and policy.
“Whether we are speaking of entrepreneurs or people who have had successful careers that saw them rise from the lowest of ranks to the highest positions in companies and institutions.
“We need to inspire the present and the coming generations by drinking from the fountains of knowledge warehoused in our successful men and women.”
On working with Media Icons Africa, managed by John Upah, broadcast expert, Okuhu said the aim is to deliver world-class content.

“We are not doing this because we spotted a space. We are here because we want to serve the people with the most well-produced content that will not just meet the taste of our chosen niche, but also compete fairly with similar productions anywhere in the world,” he said.
He clarified that the show is not a platform for celebrity display or wealth glorification.
“We do not want to celebrate money for money’s sake. On the contrary, we want to bring people who have inspiring stories to share so that others will learn from their experiences,” he said.
Okuhu added that the team would also consider audience suggestions for featured guests.

Although the C-Suite Café will be broadcast on national television, its producers plan to expand its reach through YouTube, Facebook Reels, Instagram, TikTok, and X to reach wider audiences across all demographics.
Okuhu said the show’s strength lies in its universal relevance.
