Suspected arsonists have razed the residence of Pascal Agbordike, a lawmaker representing the Ihiala federal constituency of Anambra state.

The hoodlums allegedly set the lawmaker’s house ablaze at Ubahi village in Mbosi, Ihiala LGA in the early hours of Tuesday.

Confirming the attack, Agbordike said his residence, a bungalow, was completely burnt, noting that nothing was recovered.

Agbordike called on the police and other security agencies to carry out a thorough investigation into the incident to unravel the identities of those behind the attack.

“As I am talking with you, I am homeless, my building was completely burnt in the village and nothing was rescued,” he said.

“I got a call at about 1 am this morning that my house was under attack by hoodlums.

“They gained access to the compound and burnt everything down while shooting sporadically.
