INVESTIGATION: How NECO officials collude with ‘special centres’ to undermine their own exams

For about eight months Signature TV reporters went undercover to unearth corruption in the National Examination Council (NECO) organised examinations.

The investigation exposes how NECO officials collude with ”special centres” and individuals for a fee to cheat the examination system.

Some candidates after bribing the officials do not sit for the examinations. They could pay to have grades awarded to them or sit for the examinations by proxy.

It is the third in the special investigative series, ‘Signature TV Investigates’.
